1. STARTING A RETURN
To start a return, contact [CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAIL] and include:
- your name;
- order number;
- the product or products concerned;
- the reason for contacting us, where relevant.
We will provide the correct return address and practical shipping instructions.
Please do not send products to the company’s registered office or return a parcel without first contacting us. The registered office is not a return address.
Contacting us is necessary to receive the correct return instructions. It does not make a statutory right of withdrawal dependent on our permission.
2. EU 14-DAY RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
If you are an EU consumer, you generally have the right to withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason within 14 calendar days from the day you or a person nominated by you receives the goods.
To exercise this right, send a clear statement to [CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAIL] before the 14-day period expires. Include your name, order number and the products concerned.
After notifying us, eligible products must be sent back within 14 days.
3. RETURN CONDITION
Except where you are reporting a fault, damage or non-conformity, returned products should be:
- unused;
- in their original condition;
- in their original packaging;
- complete with any seals, accessories or promotional items supplied with them.
You may inspect a product only to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. You may be responsible for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary.
4. SEALED COSMETICS AND HYGIENE
The statutory withdrawal right may not apply to sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons where their genuine seal has been broken after delivery.
This exception is assessed for each product. We do not apply a blanket rule that every opened cosmetic is automatically non-returnable.
Products that remain sealed, unused and otherwise eligible may be returned under the standard withdrawal right.
5. RETURN SHIPPING COST
The customer normally pays the direct cost of returning an eligible change-of-mind purchase. We recommend using a tracked service and keeping proof of shipment.
If a product is confirmed as faulty, damaged in transit or incorrect, Buffer Lab will cover reasonable return costs or provide another appropriate solution.
6. REFUNDS
For an eligible statutory withdrawal, we refund:
- the price paid for the returned goods; and
- where required by law, the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered for the original order.
Additional costs resulting from choosing express or upgraded delivery are not refunded.
The refund is made using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. We may withhold the refund until we receive the returned goods or evidence that they have been sent, whichever occurs first.
Banks and payment providers may require additional time to display the refund after it has been processed.
7. DAMAGED, FAULTY OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS
Contact [CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAIL] promptly if an order arrives damaged, faulty, incomplete or incorrect. Include your order number and clear photographs of:
- the affected product;
- the outer packaging;
- the shipping label;
- any visible damage.
Do not dispose of the product or packaging before we respond, unless keeping it would be unsafe.
After reviewing the issue, we will provide a remedy required by applicable law, which may include replacement, repair, price reduction or refund.
8. LEGAL GUARANTEE
Goods supplied to EU consumers are covered by the applicable legal guarantee of conformity, which is at least two years under EU rules.
This policy does not limit your rights concerning faulty or non-conforming goods.
9. CANCELLATIONS BEFORE DISPATCH
Contact us immediately if you want to cancel or amend an order. We will try to help, but cancellation cannot be guaranteed after processing or fulfilment begins.
If cancellation is no longer possible, applicable return and withdrawal rights remain available after delivery.
10. EXCHANGES
We do not currently operate an automatic exchange service. Where appropriate, return the eligible product following our instructions and place a new order for the desired product.
